About Château de Chasseloir
Château de Chasseloir began in 1960 and now operates four vineyard domains across Saint-Fiacre-sur-Maine. Le Clos du Château de l'Oiselinière, a 4-hectare parcel, holds vines planted with Melon de Bourgogne that are 80 years old. Manual harvest arrives in September. The fruit ages on lees for a minimum of 14 months, then bottle ages between 2 and 7 years. The program spans Melon de Bourgogne, Folle Blanche, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon, with Muscadet Sèvre et Maine at its core. The house distributes across more than twenty countries, including Japan, the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
