About Charleston Taylor, LLC
Thirty Hill Country acres, family-owned, anchored by an 1800s well forty feet deep. The well maintains a constant sixty-seven degrees, the temperature at which the house ages Sangiovese Reserve. That aging program is the only tasting of its kind in Texas. The portfolio spans Sangiovese, Tempranillo, Trebbiano, and Malbec. Guests can blend their own wine and leave with a custom label, take an Italian cooking class, or move through a food and wine pairing.
Tasting Experiences
Signature Tasting – Bubbles or Barrels
Guided, sit-down journey through the reserve collection with choice of red, mixed, or sparkling flight, finishing with a pour straight from the barrel. Approximately 1 hour at your table.
Italian Cooking Class
Craft two fresh pastas from scratch paired with two sauces from the kitchen, then enjoy the dinner you made with wine flowing and music playing. Bottomless wine option available.
Blenducation
Hands-on blending session where you taste as you mix, compete for Best Blend, and take home a bottle of your creation with a custom label. 90 minutes.
Food & Wine Pairing
Four seasonal bites from the kitchen paired with four reserve and limited wines, with explanation of why each pairing works. Approximately one hour.
Well Aged Tasting
Taste wine aged 40 feet down in a historic 1800s well at a natural 67 degrees – the only tasting of its kind in Texas. Limited seasonal dates.
