Black Star Farms was founded in 1998 across 160 acres spanning the Old Mission and Leelanau Peninsulas near Traverse City. The estate operates a tasting room with outdoor seating and food service. An inn sits on the property, voted Best Winery Hotel in 2025. The program produces internationally award-winning wines from its Suttons Bay holdings.
