About Rove Estate
Rove Estate sits atop the highest point on the Leelanau Peninsula, where glacial soils, clay, and natural springs support the vineyard. Wes Mateusiak, who trained at Northwestern Michigan College and Michigan State University before apprenticing under Bryan Ulbrich, has been crafting wines in Northern Michigan since 2015. The program works exclusively with estate-grown grapes. Over 50 accolades in state and international competitions mark the cellar's trajectory. Located at the Gallagher Estate, the winery offers live music and tastings paired with locally-sourced small plates. The grounds welcome pets and offer outdoor seating.
