About Tabone Vineyards, LLC

Mario A. Tabone established the winery in 2014 on Old Mission Peninsula, where the vineyard itself spans over three decades. The program centers on Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Riesling, and Pinot Gris. The 2023 Renell Sparkling Rosé of Pinot Meunier earned Gold at the 2024 Finger Lakes International. The 2022 Bubbly Chardonnay scored 91 points from Tastings.com and Gold at the 2024 Michigan Governor's Cup, while the 2022 Gewürztraminer took Gold at Finger Lakes and Silver at Michigan Governor's Cup. The 2021 Estate Barrel Strength Chardonnay, aged nearly three years in barrel at 18% ABV with 5% residual sugar, and the 2021 Reserve Red Wine, a vintner's blend aged over 30 months, represent the cellar. The tasting room offers indoor and outdoor service, cheese and charcuterie plates with gluten-free options during spring, summer, and fall, yard games, and non-alcoholic drinks. Pets welcome on the patio.
