About Bernard Baudry
Bernard Baudry planted his first 2 hectares in Cravant-les-Côteaux in 1975, after studying oenology in Beaune and working as a vine-tending consultant at the Tours laboratory with Jacques Puisais. His son Matthieu joined in 2000, bringing experience from Tasmania and California alongside studies in Mâcon and Bordeaux. The domain now spans 32 hectares across Cravant-les-Côteaux and Chinon within AOC Chinon, planted primarily to Cabernet Franc with a small portion of Chenin Blanc. Since 2006, the entire vineyard has been farmed organically.
