About Benanti
Benanti has worked the slopes of Etna since 1734, drawing from Carricante, Nerello Mascalese, and Nerello Cappuccio across three distinct parcels. The Etna Bianco Superiore Pietra Marina comes from Carricante grown in Milo on the East slope. Two reserve reds anchor the program. The Etna Rosso Riserva Rovittello Particella No. 341 from the North slope and the Etna Rosso Riserva Serra della Contessa Particella No. 587 from the South-East slope both draw from pre-phylloxera centenarian vines and spend 60 months in vinification, maturation, and aging. Visits and tastings are available daily except Monday by reservation.
