About Becht Bernard
Bernard Becht established this Dorlisheim house in 1982. The program centers on three varietals, Chardonnay, Sylvaner, and Pinot Gris. The Sylvaner Été Indien, a cuvée Bernard created in the 1990s, draws from a parcel in Mutzig on the lieu-dit Karchweg, replanted in 2016. Fermentation happens in oak vats, aging in acacia barrels. The wine took gold at Vignerons Indépendants in 2025. The house is converting to organic agriculture and renovating the barrel cellar. The portfolio also includes Chardonnay Uvae et Quercus Bio and Pinot Gris Roselin.
