About Azienda Vinicola Talamonti
Azienda Vinicola Talamonti began in 2001 when the Redmont–Di Tonno family planted vines in Loreto Aprutino, in Abruzzo's Tavo Valley. Forty-five hectares sit at 300 meters, facing southeast. Antonella Di Tonno and Rodrigo Redmont lead the program, drawing on oak from Austria, France, the USA, and Eastern Europe. The portfolio centers on Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, and Pecorino, which arrived in 2004. The house also produces Extra Virgin Olive Oil. In 2008, a bottling line and labeling equipment were installed. The Talamonti Rosè earned a Grand Gold Medal and the Vinolok Trophy for International Rosé Wines Revelation at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.
