About Ciavolich
The Ciavolichs arrived in Miglianico in 1500 as wool merchants. They built their first cellar in 1853, one of the oldest winemaking structures in Abruzzo. By 1900, the family had concentrated its production on Loreto Aprutino. Under winemaker Chiara Ciavolich, the program splits into two distinct approaches. The Ciavolich line uses contemporary vinification while respecting the original variety. Fosso Cancelli explores spontaneous fermentation in ancient materials, terracotta, oak, and concrete. The portfolio also includes Meteors, Kuma, and Kymaira.
