Niederheimbach sits in the Mittelrheintal, where Weingut Fendel has worked 16 hectares of steep-slope vineyards since 1625. The Weiler and Fendel families bring 400 years of winemaking tradition to the program. Slate soils, mineral-rich and weathered, anchor the vineyard work. Hand-harvesting and traditional handcrafted methods define the cellar. A tasting room opens to visitors.
