About Wach Jean Et Fils
Walk-ins welcome · Open Monday to Saturday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, closed Sunday
Wach Jean Et Fils began in 1972 in Andlau, working across ten hectares that span the Wiebelsberg and Moechberg Grand Cru vineyards. The family program includes Jean, Gaby, Raphaël, Fanny, Lucas, and Nathan, and converted to organic agriculture in 2021. The portfolio spans Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Muscat, Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir, including the Riesling Cuvée Lucas and Gewürztraminer Cuvée Nathan alongside Crémant. Tastings happen in a sixteenth-century cellar, accommodating up to sixty people for sessions of one to one and a half hours, served with bread, pretzel, kougelhopf, and cheeses.
