The Schermeister Winery experience

If you're looking for a tiny, under-the-radar, hidden gem winery where you get to meet the winemaker, his wife who designs the labels, and their wine dog Eli, then you've come to the right place. At Schermeister, we share more than just our native fermented, unlined, and unfiltered wines (that also have zero sugar and ultra-low sulfites). We share our stories of how we met, fell in love, and built our small Sonoma Valley winery and tasting room on ramen and dreams. Winemaker Rob is the real deal, crafting wines that are BIG on aroma, flavor, and texture. While there's technically no such thing as natural wine, there kind of is a spectrum and we fall on it. Taste with us in a casual but educational environment where wine is fun and anything but pretentious. We love what we do, and are here to help you find something you love, too.

About Schermeister Winery

Venture just ten minutes off downtown Sonoma's beaten path and find yourself in the charming hamlet of Glen Ellen, home to our cozy little creekside tasting studio. Located in the area's oldest building, Jack London Village is home to our wines and fellow artisan shops. You'd never know we were back here and many stumble in by chance. We traded sweeping vineyard views and massive architecture for shady oak trees, a cute deck overlooking Sonoma Creek, and a rustic-modern space that feels like home. And once you try our award-winning wines (most recently Double Gold and 99 points on our Pinot Noir!) you'll realize that the magic is in the tiny wineries where quality over quantity is where the true joy of wine lies.
