Nevada City Winery sits in the Sierra Foothills, in the largest historic gold rush town established in the 1850s. The oldest operating winery in Nevada County, it makes low intervention wines. The 2021 Chenin Blanc earned a Silver Medal. Rough & Ready Red Cask 26 and the NV Zinfandel both run unfiltered.
