Janemark Winery & Vineyard

About

Jane and Mark Vogt tend land in Brandywine that has been in Jane's family since 1877, when her great-great-grandparents first worked it as a tobacco farm. Vines came later. Foxes Den Vineyard went in the ground in spring 2013, followed by Four Degrees Vineyard a year later. The tasting barn at Four Degrees dates to the 1930s, built by the Amish. Winemaking began in their garage in 2016, producing 165 cases. A production barn followed in 2020. The program now makes 1,500 cases annually across Albariño, Vidal, Chambourcin, Barbera, and Petit Manseng.
