Wyldewood Cellars opened in Saint Joseph in 2010, building on Dr. John A Brewer's original vision from three decades prior. Tracie Trotter, Jess Trotter, and Dr. Brewer shape the program, which spans elderberry wines, meads, and sangrias across over 40 flavors. The house produces and bottles all its Illinois wines at a 4,000 square foot facility built in 2021. Elderberry Concentrate, the signature offering, contains 100% natural elderberry with no additives or preservatives, non-GMO and pesticide free. A tasting room and private event space are available. Wyldewood is the largest supplier and manufacturer of elderberry products in the country.
