About
Jon Woelfel and Kerri Futch established Wolf and Fox on the Woelfel Homestead, a sixth-generation family farm in Calumet County. The vineyard, planted in spring of 2022, grows cold-hardy hybrids including La Crescent, St. Pepin, Itasca, Clarion, L'Acadie Blanc, Petite Pearl, Frontenac, and Marquette. Hand-crafted wines draw from local growers and West Coast partners, with bottles like the 2024 Petite Pearl from Lucky Stone Vineyard in the Wisconsin Ledge AVA alongside a 2024 Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley. The tasting room opens Thursday through Sunday, year-round. The homestead also functions as an event venue, hosting up to 150 people from May through October.
