About Winery PI
Winery PI traces its family winemaking roots to a grandfather in Chumlaki, Kakheti, a large landowner and farmer in the 19th century who used traditional qvevri. The current marani was only established in 2020, in a historic Italian-style house built in the 1890s in Old Tbilisi; the winery farms Saperavi and Rkatsiteli across microzones in Akura and Shilda within the Kakheti region's Tsinandali appellation.
