About Ateni Terraces
Ateni Terraces sits in Ateni Valley, eight to twelve kilometers south of Gori in the Kartli region, where vineyards climb between 580 and 750 meters above sea level. Founded in 2010, the estate works only with fruit from its own vines, producing Chinuri, Goruli Mtsvane, and Aligote. Ateni is the only officially registered sparkling wine zone in Georgia, and Château Ateni remains the only producer making sparkling Atenuri wine. Tastings require advance reservation and are guided by the winemaker or a personal guide. A family restaurant on the grounds serves traditional Georgian cuisine.
