Weathervane Winery in Lexington makes wines including Evening Breeze, a Riesling fermented using regular and malolactic fermentation then back-sweetened with Riesling juice, and Perfect Storm, a blend of Raspberry Zinfandel and Blackberry Merlot. The portfolio also includes Sweet Mountain Bliss, Raspberry Zinfandel, Blackberry Merlot, and Riesling. The tasting room opens Tuesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday 1 PM to 5 PM. Members receive 17% off full case purchases, complimentary tastings or glasses on every visit, and access to barrel tastings and release parties. Members who buy three cases in a calendar year receive 25% off their next purchase. The winery also hosts weddings and maintains an online shop.
