About Old Homeplace Vineyard
Old Homeplace Vineyard sits between a 1200 acre lake and 48 acres of rolling pastures in Winston Salem, North Carolina. The land was once a tobacco farm, now in the family's hands for over 75 years and replanted to vine. The portfolio spans whites, reds, and blends. Henry Lee, a crisp white blend of Viognier, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay, anchors the program alongside a lightly oaked, creamy and floral Chardonnay and a lively, light Sauvignon Blanc. The cellar also holds Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. The tasting room opens Fridays 1-6pm, Saturdays and Sundays 12-5pm. Sunday Fundays feature local songwriters and artists performing on the deck overlooking the lake. Non-aggressive dogs on a leash are welcome.
