Waltner

About

Rosa and Josef Waltner founded this operation in Wilhelmsburg in 1967. Their son Wolfgang took over in 1987, expanding the family business into what it is today. Guest rooms, built between 1990 and 1993, number 16 across nine double and seven single rooms. The work combines a gasthaus, catering kitchen, and wine production under one roof. Alexander Bernhard leads the kitchen, where Austrian traditional cuisine is served with produce from the estate's own garden. Vegetables, salads, berries, and herbs grow on-site. Jams, juices, pastries, and meat and sausage products are made in-house.
