About
Waldensian Heritage Wines traces to Jean-Pierre Auguste Dalmas, a Waldensian immigrant from Villar Pellice, Italy, who made wine in the basement of his main house beginning in 1929 until his death in 1972. The winery itself was founded in 1986. In 2019, his grandchildren returned the land and buildings to the Dalmas Estate. Jean Pierre Dalmas and Joel Auguste Dalmas are the winemakers. The property includes La Casa Gallina, with seating for 70 indoors and 94 with outdoor space, and Le Grand Bâtiment, which accommodates 108 with tables and chairs or 232 with chairs only. Both venues are available for events, including a wedding package that provides chairs, benches, backdrop arches, ceremony locations, a bridal suite, and exclusive weekend booking.
