Vlg. Ritter

About

Vlg. Ritter began in 2010 when a former sheep pasture on the sunny south slope of Josefsberg became the winery's first small vineyard. The program spans Chardonnay, Blauburger, Rotburger, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gelber Muskateller. The cellar includes Cuvée Granat 2024, a blend of Blauburger and Rotburger, and Rosa Mantis 2025, a rosé from Rotburger, Blauburger, and Pinot Noir. Vin² de Femme Brut 2021, a Sekt Austria Reserve, is bottle fermented, hand riddled, and aged 24 months on the lees. An on-site brewery operates alongside the vineyard.
