Eisenstadt's Verein zur Kultivierung der St. Georgener Rebe exists to champion a single grape. Hans Moser chairs the association, which brings together winemakers including Helmut Gangl, Gabriele Tscheik, Gerhard Leitner, Andreas Probst, and Wolfgang Tiefenbrunner. The St. Georgener Rebe, a parent variety of Grüner Veltliner, is being registered with wine regulations across Burgenland and Lower Austria. The 2021 vintage earned Siegerwein 2022 at A LA CARTE Grand Cru tasting, scoring 93+ points among autochthonous varieties. Vertical tastings of three or six bottles are available, alongside the current release at €13.80 per bottle.
