About Varnum Vintners

Cyler and Taralyn Varnum make small-production wines in Amity, in the Eola-Amity Hills. Riesling anchors the program. The portfolio includes the 2023 PORCH Sekt, 2022 Catalyst Riesling, and 2023 YVV Riesling, alongside nonalcoholic wines. Varnum Vintners was the first winery in the world to bottle wine in a beer bottle, and the first in Oregon to produce nonalcoholic wines. The tasting room opens Friday through Sunday, 11am to 6pm, with Monday through Thursday by appointment. Wine flights are $20 for five wines. Bring outside food and pets to the porch or picnic tables. Children are welcome, with an outdoor play area. Orders of six bottles or more receive free delivery within 1.5 hours of the tasting room.
