About

Van Ruiten Family Winery in Lodi was founded in 1999, but the family's vineyard story stretches back over 65 years earlier, when their grapes were harvested and shipped to other wineries. Now they bottle their own. The estate vineyards produce Old Vine Zinfandel, Chardonnay, and a Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz blend that was among the first wines produced and remains one of the family's most popular. The tasting room opens daily from 11 am to 5 pm. The wine club, named Proost, ships four times yearly in March, June, September, and December, with complimentary tastings for up to four guests per visit.
