Tyee Wine Cellars

About

Tyee Wine Cellars sits on the Buchanan Family Century Farm, land worked for over 140 years in Corvallis. Vines first went in the ground in 1974. The winery itself was founded in 1985 by Merrilee Buchanan, a fifth generation Willamette Valley farmer who remains winemaker. Fifteen acres of estate vineyard produce around 2000 cases annually of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Gewurztraminer. The program follows Salmon-Safe standards, maintaining cover crop under the vines year-round. The Beaver Pond Loop Nature Trail winds through the property.
