Trotter 1/16th Wines, established in 2011 by winemaker Stephanie Trotter-Zacharia, is a small winery located in Napa Valley. Stephanie, who has been involved in the Napa wine industry since 1996, originally hails from Philadelphia and has a unique family background as one of 16 siblings. Her winery's name reflects her heritage, honoring her fractional place within her large family.

Initially, Stephanie began her winemaking journey working in tasting rooms and later pursued formal education at UC Davis. She sources grapes primarily from Coombsville, a cooler sub-appellation of Napa Valley known for its unique microclimates and volcanic soils. Trotter 1/16th Wines produces limited quantities, focusing on balanced and approachable wines that also possess aging potential.
