Milton, Wisconsin, just off the Ice Age Trail in Rock County, between Madison and Janesville. Timber Hill Winery moved to 8220 N John Paul Road in September 2023, and the work here is family run, women led. Amanda, the winemaker and owner, studied Microbiology at the University of Iowa before continuing her education in Wine Making and Winery Management at Kirkwood College. She is one of the country's youngest female winemakers and winery owners. The winery works with grape growers across Wisconsin, using cold climate grapes, and the portfolio includes over 40 varieties, including an award-winning Muscat. Tastings run six dollars for a choice of five wines.
