The Minya Vineyard and Winery was established in 1974 by Jeff and Sue Dans. The name Minya comes from the Aboriginal word meaning 'Place of Many Birds' to preserve the heritage of the area. The winery produces red wines including Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and Merlot, as well as white varieties like Chardonnay and Gewurztraminer.
