On the Willcox Bench in Arizona's high desert, Ryan and Desiree run a family operation powered entirely by solar energy. Ryan holds a doctorate in pharmacology and works as a pharmacist. Desiree taught Special Education in Phoenix for eight years after earning degrees from University of Wisconsin-Madison and Arizona State University. The vineyard sits in sandy loam terroir within the Willcox AVA, where 85% of Arizona's grapes are grown.
