About
Pillsbury Wine Company sits in Sulphur Springs Valley, southeastern Arizona, where Sam Pillsbury has led the program since 2000. One hundred acres planted with 13,000 vines across 12 varieties, mostly Rhones and Chardonnay, supply the cellar. Every wine is Arizona estate grown, wild yeast fermented, and vegan. The portfolio spans Chardonnay, Syrah, Viognier, Malvasia Bianca, and Rhone varieties. Guns and Kisses Shiraz alone has claimed four double golds at the San Francisco Chronicle competition. Across the house's work, the library holds two Best of Class, 11 double golds, 14 golds, and 66 silvers from the same competition. The 2023 Chardonnay earned silver. Malvasia took double gold. The tasting room in Willcox welcomes visitors.
