German-born Burkhard Schuchmann founded his eponymous winery in 2008 after falling in love with Georgian wines, partnering with native Georgian winemaker Georgi Dakishvili. Based in Kisiskhevi village, Telavi Municipality, in Kakheti, the winery works native Georgian grape varieties including Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane, Kisi, and Saperavi across vineyard sites in Napareuli, Tsinandali, and Kindzmarauli. The estate also operates a chateau with villas, a spa, and winery tours for visitors.
