Marani Elizbar 1918 is a family winery and six-room boutique hotel in the village of Kisiskhevi near Telavi, Kakheti, founded by David Turkestanishvili on land farmed by his grandfather Elizbar Turkestanishvili. Wine production began in 2018 with Saperavi and runs at roughly 4,000 bottles a year, made only from endemic Georgian varieties and aged in qvevri. The estate offers private cellar tours and tastings alongside its guest rooms, which are named after Georgian grape varieties.
