About
Schlosser began in 1900 in Braunsdorf, in Austria's Weinviertel. Vineyards sit at the foothills of the Manhartsberg Hill. August Schlosser the Third took over in 1954 and began pressing wine according to old tradition. His successors, August Schlosser the Fourth and Elisabeth Schlosser, inherited the house in 1986. Markus Schlosser has worked with the cellar since 2008, producing Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Chardonnay, Zweigelt, and Blauburger. The program includes Weinviertel DAC, Schlossecco sparkling wine, Mondscheinlese, and Schnelle Bouteille. Schlosser participates in the Celtic Wine Box project alongside five other winemakers. Labels were redesigned in 2024.
