About Scheid Winery
Scheid Winery began in 1972 in Greenfield, rooted in Al Scheid's vision to grow outstanding grapes. The operation spans a working vineyard with a 400-foot wind turbine, a demonstration plot, and a chef's garden. The tasting room in Carmel-by-the-Sea pours two different flights daily from 11 am to 6 pm. The cellar has been aging wine for more than twenty years. The program includes outdoor games, private events, wine dinners, and welcomes dogs.
