Founded in 2002, Monterey Wine Company operates from King City as a custom crush and production facility. The operation handles programs ranging from 20 to over 3,000 tons of crush and 500 to 250,000 cases of bottling, with cooperage from 900 to 56,000 gallons. State-of-the-art humidified and temperature controlled barrel rooms support the work. The house installed the first commercial Flash Détente Technology System in the United States. Services span grape sourcing, crush processing, aging, blending, and bottling. The portfolio includes POPPY, the house brand.
