Cayucos Ridge Vineyard, planted in 2018 with Estrella selection Syrah at 1600 feet elevation in the San Luis Obispo Coast AVA, sits 4.5 miles from Cayucos and 7 miles from the winery at James Berry Vineyard. The Rocket Block, a Grenache parcel at James Berry planted in 1995, feeds the program alongside Booker Vineyard, a site owned by Eric and Lisa Jensen with East and North West facing Syrah and South slope Mataro. Broken Stones, a Syrah blend with Petite Sirah, Grenache, and Mataro, spends 18-20 months in mainly new French barriques, bottled unfined and unfiltered. Saxum Somnus extends to 44 months in barrel, a counterpoint to the house's work in Syrah, Petite Sirah, Grenache, and Mataro.
