About Santus
Santus was founded in 1995 in Lombardia, planting 60,000 vines across 10 hectares over three years. Maria Luisa Santus and Gianfranco Pagano, both agronomists, direct the program entirely around Franciacorta. The work unfolds through organic vineyard practice. The portfolio includes Brut, Satèn Millesimato, Rosé Zero, Dosaggio Zero Millesimato, and Essenza. Essenza stands apart, made from Chardonnay harvested at advanced maturity. Vineyard tours and tastings run daily, including weekends.
Tasting Experiences
Vineyard and Cellar Tours
Guided tours through the vineyards to learn organic viticultural techniques, followed by visits to the fermentation tanks, wooden vessels, and aging rooms where bottles rest for years.
Franciacorta Tastings
Three different tasting experiences available: introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels to discover the winery's Franciacorta wines, conducted in the welcome area or flowering garden.
