Alise knew at 16 she wanted to become an artisan cheesemaker. In 2014, she founded Redhead Creamery in Brooten, Minnesota, designing the operation herself in partnership with Jer-Lindy Farms. The creamery produces artisan cheese, creamline milk, and yogurt. In 2024, she opened CheeseStillery, a combined cheese shop and kitchen-bar. The cheese shop operates Wednesday-Thursday 10am-4pm and Friday-Saturday 10am-5pm. The kitchen-bar runs Friday-Saturday 10:30am-4pm. Farm tours are available Friday and Saturday at noon. Cheese ships nationwide via Cheese Van route or UPS to all U.S. states and territories. The farm uses robotic milking systems.
