About
Curt and Dawn Richter began making wine at home in 2008, planting their first vineyard in 2012 about 7 miles west of Long Prairie with 900 vines. They purchased land south of Long Prairie on 210th Street in 2013, built the winery, and established a vineyard there in 2014. The tasting room opened in July 2017. The program focuses on varietals including Frontenac, Marquette, La Crescent, Sabrevois, and Louise Swenson, alongside notable releases like Campfire Red, Prairie White, Relaxin' Rosé, and Sunset Red. Food is available. Open Fridays through Sundays, noon to five.
