Purity Wine

About

Purity Wine began in Richmond in 2013, founded by winemakers Noel Diaz and Barrie Quan. The program centers on organic farming and natural winemaking, drawing from a Santa Rosa vineyard planted with Zinfandel vines over 120 years old, alongside fruit sourced across Northern California. The cellar operates as part of the Richmond Wine Collective, sharing space with 20 other winemakers. Diaz teaches a year-long wine school where students can leave with 300 bottles of wine they have produced themselves. The Study Wine Bar, their natural wine bar and bottle shop, operates in Richmond. A monthly wine club delivers two bottles at a time, and the bi-annual By The Way wine fair brings the community together.
