About Tessier Winery
Tessier Winery in Berkeley makes white wines with precision and restraint. The program centers on Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Albariño, and Sauvignon Blanc, often employing skin contact and extended aging on the lees in neutral French oak. The 2025 Monterey Skin Contact Gewurztraminer, picked from Rick's Vineyard in September, fermented on skins for fourteen days before three months in oak. Electric Ladyland, a 2025 blend of Albariño, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gewurztraminer, follows the same cellar logic. The tasting room opens Fridays 5 to 9pm and weekends 1 to 6pm. Thirty-five dollars per person. Dogs welcome.
