Puriri Hills

About

This Clevedon winery crafts Bordeaux-style blended reds from five acres of dry-farmed vines perched on river terraces overlooking the Hauraki Gulf, using Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and the rare Carmenere. Everything from growing to bottling happens on the 100-acre estate, keeping things traditional and small-batch at around 1000 cases annually. Pop in for tastings most weekends (1-4 PM, by appointment only) at the cellar door on North Road.
