Polczer

About

Polczer has worked the vineyards of Eisenberg since 1912. Hans Polczer took over from his mother Gisela in 1987, and now he and Regine shape the program. The house makes Blaufränkisch, Merlot, and Zweigelt. Reihburg Cuvée, a blend of Blaufränkisch and Merlot, has served as Austria's official Olympic wine since 2012 and is served at the Austria House. The cellar's Ferrum Cuvée and Merlot both spend twelve months in new and one-year-old barrique barrels, the Ferrum built on a must weight of 20.0 KMW.
