Claudia Purita, who grew up on her family's farm in Calabria, Italy, shapes the program in Southold. Much of the vineyard was hand planted. The work is certified sustainable and entirely estate grown and produced, with no herbicides or harsh pesticides. Purita is a member of the Long Island Sustainable Winegrowers Association. Dogs on leash are welcome on the outdoor patio and picnic area. Groups are limited to six, with a 90-minute seating window on weekends.
