About Nicolas Joly
La Coulée de Serrant is a 7-hectare vineyard exclusively owned by the Joly family in Savennières, Loire Valley, with vines planted since 1130 by Cistercian monks. The estate has been cultivated using biodynamic farming methods since 1984 and produces three wines: Coulée de Serrant, Clos de la Bergerie, and Les Vieux Clos. The vineyard is cultivated partly by hand and partly by horse due to steep slopes overlooking the Loire River.
