About Château de la Roulerie
Philippe and Marie Germain left Bordeaux for Anjou, founding Château de la Roulerie in 2004. The late 19th-century château sits above a gravity-fed cellar built on three levels on a hillside. Thirty-seven hectares of organic vineyards surround the property, expanded in 2009 with eighteen additional hectares of young vines and a storage cellar. The barrel park ranges from 225 liters to 35 hectoliters. Since 2015, all wines carry Ecocert organic certification. Specific parcels have become their own cuvées, including Terrasses and Magnolia.
