Three acres on south-facing slopes between Nicasio and San Geronimo valleys, where shallow clay loam overlays fractured sandstone. Moon Hill was founded in 2002 and tends every vine by hand. The program is Pinot Noir only, from Dijon clones 115, 667, 777, and 828 grown on this single site. Low-intervention winemaking in the Burgundian tradition, no purchased fruit. The cellar runs on solar power, off-grid.
